Running a Small Business

The fortunate truth of owning and running a small business.

I wake up each day and carry on a family tradition that has served tens of thousands of friends and families in San Francisco Bay Area communities for over 50 years.

I am privileged to be an entrepreneur who can create and grow my wealth by choice and effort to serve my family and team and give back to the communities we serve.

I am in an industry that allows me optimal health. It creates an environment of empowerment for people physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Owning and running a business provides me the freedom to live a lifestyle that is my doing. I am my own boss.

Yes, there are challenges and difficulties. I welcome each as an opportunity to improve and grow as a leader and business. It also presents pathways to greater profitability.

It allows me a flexible schedule so I may be there for most of my children’s activities, events, and milestones.

Yes, it can be stressful at times. I do some of my best learning under these conditions. It teaches me resilience, grit, and inner strength. It is also a reminder that this, too, shall pass.

The fortunate truth of owning and running a small business is an excellent reminder this is what our country was built on. I am a third-generation business owner. I am grateful to be one every day.
